Delafaire Week #1

Our second year at Delafaire we were in the back of the faire with our stage right next to us.


We were doing our historical show and as Dr. Forgeng said many years ago "We’re not just geeks with swords, we’re geeks with swords and books". Still trying to keep the faith there.


But, we do have swords. And, my wife was able to take part for the first time since she hurt her shoulder a few months ago, so yay!
















And, of course we bag people.



Between shows Sean the Gypsy Rover gave whip lessons and Casey juggled.




We gave some sword lessons too.



This week, the faire ends right at sunset. Next week, it will be darker…


We had lots of lights out for the dark and will be ready next week.



Sunday we were there for more, especially Casey juggling.



He worked on teaching others too.






And, Sean with the whip lessons.


Tom can’t resist a whip.


But, we were there to sword fight.










We did more sword lessons too.



It was a good day, but we were short on people as some folks got the flue, so by the end of the day we were tired.
