Enchanted Apple Renaissance Faire

The forecast for the weekend was rain, but it was much more of a mixed bag than just rain. Even driving there we saw a good variation




The faire is held at the Red Apple Farm.





We did debut the scythe combat demo this show.




We got set up on the hill, visited with some friends also doing the show and got ready for our performances.






We also had a special guest start of a nesting bird near our tent. It seemed OK with our swords and fire, but when folks came by with dogs, the bird freaked out.




Our first show of the day was our historical combat show.










A fairly strong storm came through just as our second show was going. So, we didn’t get many photos as we finished quickly and took shelter in the tent.


As a bigger band of rain was coming right at the time of our third show we dropped the tent and took shelter.


Day two was a bit more rain, but spread out all day instead of in intense bands.





Again, we started with our combat show.





















Then, a mid afternoon fire show.





























We did our best to keep out of the rain and entertain folks at the faire.




Then the late afternoon fire show.











Then, off to get the car to pack up as the end of the day celebrations went on.
