This weekend Phoenix Swords hit 500 shows.
We do track all kinds of information on our shows, so for 500 here it is…

The number of shows per year has varied a lot:

What we do at shows is mostly swords.
But, sometimes we do play characters or do scripted shows, fire or other things.
This does add up to more than 500 as there are shows we do more than one thing.

Most of our shows are at Ren Faires, but we do other things.

No one has done every show, but some have done quite a few.

We’ve performed a lot of places.

The average location of which comes out in a field in New Jersey. The farthest south west Mississippi and north east Germany.

Together it adds up the just over 3/4 of the way to the moon.

To cover the range of audience I needed to go to a log scale. Did 158,000 people watch our show back in 2006? Well, we performed along the side of the Avenue of the States at the Eastern States Exposition, and that’s how many folks were there that day. How many saw our show? Don’t know…
