Philadelphia Ren Faire, part one

It was our third year at the Philadelphia Renaissance Faire: https://www.phillyfaire.com/

This year we were in a nice dry spot on "The Island" just outside the fort itself.


We set up in a very pretty area on the island.











We were doing three shows a day on the field stage right near our tent. It was very convenient.




Our shows were all our historically based combat shows. The first one mainly German sources.







And, of course we talked with folks, showed them swords and gave some lessons at the tent between shows.













Our second show was Italian, English and French techniques.






The third show was "all the things" where we put out everything and let the audience choose which things we do. We always do them all, it’s just the order that changes.








It was a long day and folks were tired at the end.



But, at dinner we did see a rainbow.



Sunday we were back for another very similar day.
