Newfound Memorial Middle School show

Today we did a show at the Newfound Memorial Middle School. They are studying the Jamestown colony in Virginia 400 or so years ago and we tailored our show to that area.


We made sure to have all our swords checked and approved by the school administration before we brought anything in then set up in the gym as it was cold and damp outside.







We did examples from Italy, England and Germany that have connections to London in the early 1600’s as the Jamestown people left from there in 1607. So, these were all things they could well have been aware of.




We did do a bit of later small sword as the colony was still there when it became popular.



Then packing up and heading out into what had become a snowy day. Glad we didn’t do the show outdoors.
