New Hampshire Ren Faire, week 2

Saturday morning looked a bit cloudy, but we set up and got ready.

One of the folks we used to be in the Higgins Museum Sword Guild with stopped by and we reviewed what each of us has done in the last 20 years.

Our historical show went off as scheduled.

Between shows, the rain did start.

It wasn’t too bad, so our 2:30 show went on.

The great treasure found at the end of Saturday’s comedy show was miniature violins we played at Tom for not getting any gold.

Sadly, the rain picked up after that. and we did not do the fire show that day.
We packed up and headed home waiting for better weather on Sunday.

Sunday morning we found that the tent had been overloaded with water and the center pole suffered for it.
But, it didn’t take much to make repairs and get going again.

As with other days, we started with the historical show:

Between shows we gave some sword lessons and did other things to entertain folks.

Then the comedy sword fight show:

Given the better weather, we were able to do the fire show Sunday.

Being tired, we then rested and watched the folks sing the patrons out of the faire.

It’s a great faire and we had a good time.
Hopefully we’ll be back again!
