New Hampshire Renaissance Faire, weekend #1

Some of us were there Friday to set up and get our fire equipment inspected.

New Hampshire has very strict fire regulations and I’m always very happy when they give us an approval. It means we are doing it right as they are very exacting.

Saturday we were ready for our shows on a beautiful day, much cooler than the year before, but still nice and sunny.

It’s always good to see everyone at the morning meeting before the faire opens.

Our first show of the day is our historical show.

We had some time for lunch before our afternoon shows.

Of course, people who are REALLY into sword fighting get private "lessons" between acts…

Then, the afternoon comedy sword fight show.

Sunday my wife and I were more Celtic as it was a theme of the day.

For our historical show Sunday morning, our friend Frank Perrin joined us for some Persian examples along side our more European ones.

Then, the comedy show with a different ending than Saturday.

On Sunday I was smart enough to set up the video for our fire show so got some stills off of it.
It was very windy, which makes it "exciting", but it went well.

It’s a great show and we’re always happy when we’re invited back.
We’ll be there next weekend too! Come see us there if you’re able!
